Keisuke Sakagawa
Security Manager, Operations Designer
An operations designer who translates latent needs into organizational context to maximize member performance. Pursues not just operational AI utilization, but "mechanisms to accelerate business" and "offensive governance" through strategic application and automation. After Apple Japan and Philips Japan, has taken on numerous roles as organizational nexus points, including IT department launches during startup rapid growth phases, large-scale M&A, and office relocation PM. Currently also provides parallel career support for building organizational foundations tailored to business phases, from security consulting to IT cost optimization. Privately designs and operates a café and coworking space in Miyazaki Prefecture. The experience of consistently handling everything from design to financial closing has become the foundation of a personal style that derives optimal solutions transcending functional boundaries. As an avid coffee lover, explores "control of variables to draw out the potential of materials" through roasting.

Tong Jiang
Business Designer, Project Director
After 5 years supporting clients to expand their businesses in Asia Pacific as a consultant of the Boston Consulting Group(BCG) Tokyo office, Tong has dedicated his career to the incubation of globally successful brands originating from Asia. In the past decade, Tong lived and worked in Tokyo, Singapore, Shanghai among other places. He led the cross-border e-commerce of Lazada, the Southeast Asian business unit of Alibaba Group, and laid the foundation of TikTok’s global e-commerce initiative since early 2021. Such experiences have not only turned Tong into an expert in the areas of e-commerce/retail marketing and operations, but also triggered his exploration into design - an comprehensive approach to long-lasting, sustainable business competitiveness. He joined Takram in 2024. Tong graduated from Peking University with double bachelor degrees in Economics and Japan Study.

Kosuke Usui
Visual Designer, Photographer, Videographer
Usui founded a film production company in 2018, working across brand, fashion, music video, and commercial projects, handling everything from direction and cinematography to editing. Since September 2025, Usui has joined Takram, aiming to pioneer new possibilities in visual expression by integrating film, photography, CGI, and AI.

Suika Yamada
Digital Product Designer
While studying design at Tokyo University of the Arts, she studied design and expression from multiple perspectives. She was introduced to the trends in social design, including community design, and studied in Denmark to learn about designing not only products but also experiences. While studying Communication design, she observed how design is involved in society. After returning to Japan, she worked for Recruit Co., Ltd. in the area of digital product growth and design management for new product launches. While working on research and digital product projects, she is also involved in design projects supporting local governments and traditional craftspeople as a freelance designer.

Riku Kawasaki
Digital Product Designer, Project Director
In Takram, Riku plays an active part in design research, concept development and information architecture through his experience in building information architecture for large websites as well as creating and renewing numerous digital services. Through his research, he aims to gather insights that even the stakeholders were not aware of.

Mitsuru Muramatsu
Designer, Design Engineer
2016 Completed the doctoral programme at the Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University. Subsequently, Mitsuru was appointed as a specially appointed Assistant Professor at the Prototyping & Design Laboratory (Shunji Yamanaka Laboratory), Institute of Industrial Science, The University of Tokyo. Engaged in various research projects, mainly in the design project of a robot that brings about life-like cognition and envisions the future of cutting-edge technology with prototyping and design engineering at its core. Mitsuru is also involved in the planning and management of various exhibitions to share the results of his research with society at large. As an artist, he actively participates in exhibitions at home and abroad, winning the grand prize in the interactive art category at the 'Asia Digital Art Awards' in 2015, the 'STARTS Prize' Nomination in 2016 and the 'Gold A' Design Award in 2022.

Ryo Kobayashi
Visual Designer, Motion Designer
Visual and motion designer who melts the boundaries between business and creativity, studied under Nahuel Salcedo at Onesal Studio from 2020-22, and is active in the fields of CGI-based visual and motion design. He has been involved in visual design in the field of video in general and real-time graphics in particular, and is also expanding his field of activity through various awards, while improving his literacy in product and business design. Awarded runner-up in the KOKUYO DESIGN AWARD 2021 and TOKYO BUSINESS DESIGN AWARD 2021, Film Craft: Silver / Digital Craft: Bronze in ADFEST 2021, CANNES LIONS 2017. Bronze, etc.

Kotaro Watanabe
Context Designer, Project Director
Kotaro WATANABE splits his time between Tokyo and London, aiming to use design to weave stories rather than simply creating products. He has lived and worked in cities including Tokyo, Hong Kong and Brussels among other places.
His projects span a wide range of fields, from branding, service design to art work commissions. Kotaro's projects include corporate branding of NIKKEI, the world's largest financial newspaper, "FLORIOGRAPHY", an international campaign of flower corsage and letter-writing for ISSEY MIYAKE, "Message Soap, in time", a bar of soap with a hidden written message inside, and "Morioka Shoten", a bookstore in Tokyo known for "a Single Room with a Single Book", among others. Kotaro holds worldwide lectures and workshops, whilst running projects internationally. He serves as juror of German iF Design Awards and guest professor at Keio University SFC.

Yasuhiro Sasaki
Strategist, Project Director
Yasuhiro explores and shares approaches that companies and brands should take toward the future, based on insights into shifts in culture, social structures, and business environments. His publications reflecting such perspectives include Purpose (NewsPicks Publishing) and D2C (same).
At Takram, Yasuhiro works on future foresight and its visualization based on global trend research, as well as the formulation of corporate missions and visions rooted in a deep understanding of management strategies and organizational cultures. He also supports the development of business and brand strategies.
Prior to joining Takram, Yasuhiro was engaged in business development at a general trading company. He holds a BA in Political Science and Economics from Waseda University and a Master of Design Methods from the Institute of Design at Illinois Institute of Technology.
At Takram, Yasuhiro works on future foresight and its visualization based on global trend research, as well as the formulation of corporate missions and visions rooted in a deep understanding of management strategies and organizational cultures. He also supports the development of business and brand strategies.

Yahiro Nakamoto
Digital Product Designer, Design Engineer
Yahiro is a digital product designer who strives to create a harmonious digital and physical relationship. Born in Toyama in 2002, he graduated from the Department of Creative Innovation at Musashino Art University. During his studies, he was involved in product design at a startup and later joined Takram. Guided by a playful approach, he designs and develops products and services that enrich the user experience.

Minoru Ito
Design Engineer, Project Director
After graduating from Future University Hakodate, Faculty of Architecture, Minoru Ito gained interaction design experience through the R&D project at GK TECH Inc., and production of museum exhibitions. Skilled at prototyping and developing installations using visual programming tool “vvvv”, in 2014, he published “vvvvook – A GUIDE TO VISUAL PROGRAMMING FOR PROTOTYPING.” He is also involved in plugin development and holds workshops both domestically and internationally. He joined Takram in 2015.

Atsutaka Ino
Brand Designer
Brand designer who translates corporate culture and philosophy, as well as personal aesthetics and memories, into brand equity. He has worked on brand design and branding for a wide range of industries including legal, education, construction, furniture, stationery, online gifts, and apparel. After graduating from Keio University, he worked for a consulting firm specializing in B2C brand design, where his projects included brand concept design, customer experience optimization, and recruitment strategy development and execution. He also has experience in customer success, operations, and product development as an operations and development manager for a cosmetics brand. He is interested in the phenomenon in which users find meaning in things that inherently have little (or no) functional value, and designs brands using "Tada no Ishi (just rocks)" that have little or no functionality.

Masumi Ochi
Business Development, Secretary
Masumi is in charge of business development and secretarial work as a bridge between clients and Takram members. After joining a major chemical company as a new graduate, she worked as a secretary to the board of directors. She majored in Educational Methodology, and at the University of Toronto Summer School, her research theme was "Edutainment (Education × Entertainment)," and she was attracted to Takram, an edutainment organization, and joined in March 2024. Masumi loves short skiing and lives in Karuizawa and Tokyo in order to reach the slopes in 20 minutes from her home.

Keisuke Oyama
Sound Designer, Design Engineer, Project Director
Keisuke Oyama graduated from Keio University SFC after attending music school. Working mainly in sound design, integrating his knowledge of programming and hardware, Keisuke has been involved in diverse projects including installations, products, interactive applications, and video works. He specializes in creating immersive experiences by integrating multiple senses including auditory, visual, and tactile. Keisuke utilizes technology as a tool for design and approaches his projects from a unique perspective.

Naoaki Iwamatsu
Industrial Designer, Service Designer, Project Director
Naoaki Iwamatsu joined Takram in 2020 as an industrial and service designer, focusing on the production aspect of new business and service development. After receiving his master's in Design and Management Engineering from Kyoto Institute of Technology, he started his career at a big IT hardware manufacturing company, where he was involved in the strategic planning of startups, future visions, and mass production. Naoaki is one-half of the design duo akii, whose creations are sold at Vitra and other museum stores worldwide. He has been the recipient of a variety of industry honours, including the 2011 James Dyson Award, iF Design Award, and German Design Award.

Tatsuya Narita
Prototyping Engineer, Designer, Project Director
Tatsuya Narita graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Information Design. He joined Takram in 2014 as an associate. He works on hardware development and prototyping using electronics and digital fabrication technology. His work was exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art Tokyo “Ars Electronica–30 Years for Art and Media Technology” exhibition in 2010, 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT “Motion Science” exhibition, and 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT “ traNslatioNs” exhibition. Awards include 2009 Prix Ars Electronica, [the next idea] honorary mention.

Daiki Nakamori
Industrial Designer, Project Director
After learning human ergonomics for personal mobilities at The Tokyo University as well as industrial design from Chiba University and The Polytechnic University of Milan, Daiki worked for Daikin Industries, looking after product development from ideation through production as an industrial designer. Both his personal and professional works have received numerous awards including Good Design Awards, iF Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, KOKUYO DESIGN AWARD 2016 Grand Prix, LEXUS DESIGN AWARD 2015 Prototype Winner.

Kosuke Futsukaichi
Digital Product Designer
Kosuke is a multi-cultural designer specializing in digital experiences and interfaces.As a new graduate he joined a B2B SaaS startup as the founding designer to build a product from 0 to 1. He then took that experience to help multiple Tech startups improve their overall design output and build comprehensive design systems as an individual contributor.Kosuke graduated from Simon Fraser University, School of Interactive Arts & Technology, with a focus in Design.

Kanako Kawahara
Digital Product Designer, Project Director
A digital product designer specializing in UI/UX design and branding, exploring harmonious relationships between technology and human experience. After graduating from the Department of Information Design at Tama Art University, Kanako led design divisions at multiple IT startups, driving the launch and growth of new business ventures before joining Takram in 2020. With a foundation in digital experience design, She approach product and brand development through the lens of emotional resonance, bringing concepts to life while considering how she can meaningfully connect with users. Her integrated design approach spans diverse categories of products and services, often bridging the gap between digital and physical domains.

Masato Nomiyama
Design Engineer, Project Director
A design engineer who connects technology and people. Pursuing products that enrich human life by combining advanced technologies such as generative AI and XR both functionally and emotionally. While specializing in software engineering including apps, web, XR, and data visualization, handles a wide range of fields including UI design, brand design, graphic design, and service design. After completing studies in Intelligent Mechanical Information Engineering at the University of Tokyo, joined Takram in 2018.

Ken Fujiyoshi
Design Strategist, Project Director
Ken is a design strategist, focusing and experimenting on possible applications and cultures for different technologies. As a strategist, he is interested in how one technology is structured and embraced by society, while as a designer, he is interested in how people perceive and interact with them, establishing their own culture and understanding around it.

Motosuke Fukuda
Experience Designer, Project Director
Motosuke Fukuda founded Takram’s New York studio in 2019, drawing upon his background in experience design and specialties in branding and digital products, to support projects spanning Japan and the U.S. In his previous role as Head of Product Design at Recruit, the parent company of Indeed and a leading HR Tech Company, he led a team of nearly 100 designers and engineers to launch numerous digital products, some of which have become industry standards in Japan. He brings a unique blend of strategic thinking and eye for execution, working both as an active participant within organizations, as well as offering objective guidance to drive innovation and steer companies towards the future. He has received industry recognition from Good Design Award Best 100, receiving the TIAA Silver Award, and earning the ADFEST Bronze Award.

Kaoru Tanaka
Design Consultant, Designer, Project Director
With extensive knowledge and experience in design thinking and systemic thinking, Kaoru Tanaka has helped clients create value through branding, UX, design research, and service design, and has launched numerous products and new businesses. Recently, Kaoru has been working on social issues such as circular design, and organizational transformation to foster a mindset and culture that harnesses the creativity inherent in people. He has over 10 years of experience in branding at Hakuhodo and design consulting at IDEO, where he was instrumental in developing the Japanese market from 2006, before the Tokyo office was established, and eventually served as co-managing director of IDEO Tokyo. He has a background in video and music production. He grew up in rural Hawaii and New York. He loves road biking and cooking, and was the winner of the first and last jambalaya recipe contest.

Rena Komatsu
CG Designer, Visual Designer
Designers who lead concept-making and prototype the future with visuals that have a strong sense of substance based on 3DCG. In order to properly design highly abstract and complex objects, Rena explores visual engineering that makes use of the textures, materials and movements unique to 3DCG. While studying abroad in Spain at Tohoku University's Faculty of Economics, Rena came into contact with a free and generous atmosphere and developed an interest in creativity. After working as a freelance CG designer and video production company, Rena joined Takram in 2023. she aims to expand her field from visualisation through video expression to physical prototyping of products. Born in the rice-growing north-eastern part of Japan, Rena is a great lover of rice. Her favourite varieties are "Yumepirika" and "Date-masamune.

Satoru Osawa
Design Engineer
Satoru Osawa started his career as a researcher in a company manufacturing digital broadcasting products, working on microwaves including millimetre waves. Later, he entered IAMAS (Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences) and also studied Interface Cultures as an exchange student at the University of Art and Design in Linz. He is interested in physical interaction, putting an emphasis on interaction design which accompanies motion. Hardware prototyping is one of his strongest suits. He joined Takram in 2016.

Hisato Ogata
Design Engineer, Project Director
With Takram since 2012, Hisato is a design engineer whose cross-disciplinary practice spans design, engineering, art, and science. After graduating from The University of Tokyo’s Faculty of Engineering and studying at the International academy of Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS), he worked at LEADING EDGE DESIGN before joining Takram. Notable projects include the design concept and styling for the lunar exploration rover “HAKUTO,” art direction for NHK E-Television’s “Mimicries,” exhibition direction for “ATHLETE” at 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT, branding and experience design for SKINCARE LOUNGE by ORBIS, and exhibition direction for the Signature Pavilion “Dynamic Equilibrium of Life” at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. He has served as a juror for the Good Design Award since 2015, and has recently published “Convivial Technology.” Since 2021, Hisato has been living in Miyota, Nagano, exploring the optimal balance among technology, humanity, and nature.

Megumi Kanno
Business Designer, Project Director
After studying design methods such as design thinking, design research, and speculative design during her years at Keio University, Megumi joined ADK Holdings as a strategic planner. She had led marketing and branding projects for domestic and global markets with clients ranging from multi-national corporates to startups. Megumi joined Takram in 2019 and is responsible for designing sustainable and resilient businesses for clients.

Karin Hongo
Graphic Designer
After graduating from the Faculty of Art and Design, University of Toyama, Karin worked at a graphic design office. She has been involved in many visual branding projects. After that, she gained experience in product design for cosmetics at ORBIS Inc. She has worked in a wide range of design fields, including product and space design, with a focus on graphic design. On an individual basis, she continues to work on art direction for apparel brands and architectural firms. Awards received include the "SDA Award" Gold Prize and the "D&AD" Wood Pencil in the branding category. She is a professional member of JAGDA.

Takafumi Yano
Culture & Relations, Editor
After graduating from university, Takafumi Yano joined an editing production company. He engaged in editing and production of corporate PR magazines. At the same time, he studied under Shigeo Goto, an editor and creative director, at the editing workshop "Super School". Later, he worked in the editorial department of "Kurashi-no-Techo" and "WIRED JAPAN", where he was involved in print magazine and digital contents production. He joined Takram as an editor in 2021. His hobby is ultra-distance trail running.

Sho Tanaka
Designer, Industrial Designer, Vision Designer, Project Director
Sho Tanaka seeks to find beauty in relationships between industry and culture. He is centered on product design, and is involved in a wide range of work relating to lifestyles including visual design, brand development, and UI design. After managing his own design company, he joined Takram in 2015.

Zijun Zhao
Designer, Project Director
An innovation designer with a background in mechanical engineering, design, MBA. Over an 11-year residence in Japan, he held roles at both major manufacturing corporations and IT start-ups, before founding flowepost Inc., a company dedicated to the development of MR hardware/software solutions. In 2017, he served as a government advisor to the national Japanese project “Kansai Research City”. In 2018, he joined Takram and went on to establish Takram China in 2021.
In 2022, he was featured on CCTV’s program “Innovation Road” and was officially recognized as a “Chinese Consumer Economy Figure”. Since 2023, he has served as an expert advisor to the “China Future Studies Society” (CSFS) under CAST, providing brand strategy consulting services to a wide range of Chinese enterprises. In 2024, he was appointed as a master’s program supervisor at the School of Design, Hunan University.
At Takram, he leads projects across diverse domains including business design, brand strategy, visual design, product design, spatial design, and UI/UX design.

Hiroaki Senzaki
3D Designer, Motion Designer
Hiroaki explores and delivers 3D graphics and motions that resonate with the target audiences, amplifying the potential value of the subject. Prior to joining Takram in 2025, he worked at Canon Inc., where he created promotion films and visuals for products and services. Hiroaki also led the planning and development of Live Switcher Mobile, a smartphone app that makes multi-angle live streaming easy for anyone. He is also a contributor to AC-bu with his unique 3DCG designs.

Shota Matsuda
Design Engineer, Project Director
Born in Kyoto, Japan in 1986, Shota Matsuda has worked in fields ranging from software engineering to branding and product design. Interested in letter technology, Shota was certified as a super creator in digital typography by the Exploratory IT Talent Discovery and Training Project. Graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Environment and Information Studies. Shota has a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Information Studies from the University of Tokyo and an M.A. in Computer Science from the University of Tokyo. After working as a researcher at a university and at an IT startup, he joined Takram in 2013. Major projects include the design and development of the H3 FIP flight status display system for the H3 rocket, direction of the rebranding of freee, product design for the TAMRON lens series, and awards including the Good Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, iF Design Award, and others.

Yoshifumi Yanai
Verbal Designer, Project Director
Yoshifumi is a word designer who approaches users and design processes through words, in forms such as concepts. After graduating from Kyoto University, he joined a global consumer goods company, followed by a global ad company, finally joining Takram in 2021. He was previously engaged in branding and communication strategy planning for global clients as a copywriter, and won a Copy Gold award of Sendenkaigi Ad awards for one of his works.

Yuki Takai
Project Designer, Draft Designer, Project Director
After graduating from the School of Social Sciences at Waseda University, Yuki joined a web advertising company. After that, he worked as a creative director/project manager at Loftwork Inc. where he was involved in a wide range of projects including web direction, new business creation support, and art projects. Yuki joined Takram in 2022. Yuki specializes in project design that draws a path to a goal by combining intuition and logical thinking, concept formulation based on design research, and information design and draft design tailored to touch points.

Minoru Sakurai
Design Engineer, Project Director
Minoru's work stretches wide from big data visualisation and UI/UX design to service design. He received MITOH Program Super Creator, Software Innovation in 2007 and completed the doctorate program at Tokyo University of The Arts, Department of Design in 2014 before joining Takram in 2014. Some of his notable works include; prototyping for "RESAS: Regional Economy Society Analyzing System," a big data visualization system for the Japanese government; UI planning and design for a data science support tool "DataDiver"; design for "A Plan for Tokyo, 2020: Five Purr-fect Points for Feline Architecture," in collaboration with Kengo Kuma; direction of NSK's global campaign, "__ with Motion & Control". He has been awarded GOOD DESIGN GOLD AWARD and many other awards for various projects.

Takuma Oishi
Strategic Designer, Project Director
Takuma is a strategic designer who stands at the intersection of business and creative, developing new businesses and products. He constructs concepts and business models using design research, workshops, and other methods. In addition to design thinking, he develops an approach that combines behavioural economics and system thinking. Graduating from Kyoto Institute of Technology, Design and Management Engineering, at university, he studied product design, management and engineering in a cross-disciplinary manner, giving him an insight into product development from a wide range of perspectives. He practised service design at a design firm during which he was involved in the launch of many products and services, as well as UX strategy formulation, information design, and direction in website production and app development. He joined Takram in 2019.

Shuntaro Taniguchi
Business Designer, Project Director
Develop idea and build business based on the depth psychology of humans. After graduating from Keio University, built career as a Brand Strategist at a foreign ad agency. Worked for foreign companies operating in the Japanese market in the area of user research,ads and product concept development. Joined Takram as a business designer in 2021.

Kinya Tagawa
Design Engineer, Project Director
Kinya has been involved in a range of projects centered on innovation and branding through design. His work has been recognized with awards such as the Good Design Gold Award, the iF Design Award, and inclusion in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York. He contributed as a core member to the development of the “Design Management” declaration led by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Japan Patent Office. Kinya holds a degree from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo and a Master’s degree from the Royal College of Art (RCA), UK. From 2015 to 2018, he served as a Visiting Professor at RCA, and in 2018, he was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the institution. He has served in advisory and committee roles including as a member of the Intellectual Property Committee at METI’s Industrial Structure Council, Director of the Japan Institute of Design Promotion, Director of the Pokémon With You Foundation, and Advisor to the President’s Office at the University of Tokyo. In 2025, Kinya was appointed Project Professor at the University of Tokyo.

Tomoro Hanzawa
Graphic Designer, XR Designer, Project Director

Koji Sawada
Designer, Project Director
Since 2009, Koji has been involved in web and app design at digital agencies and design production companies in Japan, and has also worked as a design director for several start-ups. Involved in various company projects from the design strategy phase, and experienced design support in multiple areas such as service planning, identity construction, UX design and UI design. Joined Takram in 2023.

Jun Murakoshi
Product Designer, Service Designer, Project Director
Jun Murakoshi is a graduate of Chiba University (MEng Design Science) and the Royal College of Art (MA Design Products). He has worked on new business, product, and scenario development for Takram and various innovation consulting firms since 2008. He is also assistant professor at Chiba University's Center for International Research and Education and program manager for University of Tokyo's i.school. Before joining Takram in 2020, he founded Jun Murakoshi Design and was an active figure in both the Japanese and international design scene. Jun was a finalist for the 2017 Hublot Design Prize and has received numerous awards including Interior Lifestyle's Young Designer Award and Japan Media Arts Festival's Jury Selection. His work is part of the permanent collection of the Neues Museum in Nuremberg and the Shanghai Museum of Glass. He is skilled in the Japanese art of flower arranging, or ikebana, and holds an Instructor Certification from Ryusei-ha in Japan.

Hayato Shin
Digital Product Designer, Strategic Designer, Project Director
A business designer who feeds on experiences in cities and nature to expand the possibilities of society. He specializes in working from design research to concept-making and commercialization in a single integrated process. In his previous role, he worked at an innovation consulting firm, contributing to developing new businesses, products, and services, as well as crafting future scenarios and visions for prominent Japanese companies. At the University of Tokyo, he was engaged in research activities in innovation education as a specially-appointed researcher. In 2021, he joined Takram NY, where he is involved in design research, development of new products and services, and branding projects. He enjoys rock climbing. He holds a graduate degree in Intelligent Mechanical Engineering from the University of Electro-Communications.

Shohei Hasegawa
Designer, Project Director
After studying interaction design, Shouhei Hasegawa worked on web applications and digital projects at HAKUHODO i-studio Inc. He graduated from Chiba University, Faculty of Engineering, and Tama Art University, Department of Information Design in 2011, and joined Takram in 2015 as a specialist in UI/UX design.

Keisuke Kambara
Design Engineer, Project Director
Keisuke Kambara is interested in technology related to human-computer interaction, design, and cognitive psychology. He was recognized as MITOH Program Super Creator in Software Innovation in 2005. He received a Masters Degree from the Graduate School of Media and Governance at Keio University SFC in 2006. Keisuke entered Hatena Co., Ltd. in 2006. Following a doctoral researcher program at the Ochanomizu University, he received a doctorate in Media and Governance in 2012 at Keio University. Joined Takram in 2013.
His strengths include research, concept making, prototyping, front-end to back-end software engineering, and UI design. His notable projects include concept and UI design for local guide apps by NTT Docomo.

Guri Amano
Project Facilitator
Responsible for project operations support. Amano holds a Master's degree in Management Engineering from the Graduate School of Systems Science (CIT). Her graduate research theme was "A Study on the Influence of Cooperation on Business Organization Performance." Amano joined Takram in 2023.

Taro Yumiba
Graphic Designer, Project Director
Taro Yumiba graduated from Rhode Island School of Design, Graphic Design Department, and interned at San Francisco advertisement agency Attik. He joined THA ltd. in 2009, where he was involved in a wide range of projects ranging from campaign website and service design, to video production and publications. As a type fanatic, he runs an online compendium of world’s type foundries “TypeCache.com”. Under the TypeCache label, he also sells alphabet t-shirts, writes about European fonts, and gives lectures. He joined Takram in 2015.

Miki Tsutsui
Designer, Editor, Project Director
Designer with an editorial point of view, who draws up stories from research to strategy formulation and brand communication. With a background in designing magazines and books, Miki specialises in developing and implementing brand and marketing strategies using words, visuals and graphics. She works with a wide range of industries, including large corporations, start-ups, educational institutions and public institutions. Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Design Information. After working for design companies, she joined Takram in 2024. In her private life, she is a parent of two children and does her best to balance childcare and design work. She also likes to travel, both abroad and domestically. Miki is the author of "Naru Hodo Design (A new book on design that you can enjoy with your own eyes) " (MdN). She also gives numerous lectures and workshops.

Takaya Deguchi
Design Engineer, Service Designer, Project Director
Takaya aims to create sustainable products based on service design and web engineering. Takaya has worked as a product manager and CXO at Cookpad and several SaaS startups, and has been involved in 0→1 business startups. He joined Takram in 2023 while walking the fine line between BTC in an operating company. He was in charge of launching Mitsubishi Electric's “Serendie Design System”. At the same time, he operates the podcast “resize.fm,” plans and sells the spiced vinegar drink “RINDA,” and works as a product development support for startups “5m. Takaya spends his days in the sauna he built at home, surrounded by Bikakushida to get in shape.

Shuai He
CG Designer, Visual Designer
As a creatively driven CGI Artist, Shuai specializes in crafting detailed design files, rendering stunning product beauty shots, and producing brand and product showcase videos. He is deeply passionate about creating visually striking imagery and bringing designs to life through motion. After graduating from Boston University, Shuai embarked on a career in branding and packaging design agencies, where he leverages 3D CG to transform creative ideas into reality.

Yuko Yamamoto
Talent Attraction, Recruiting Manager
Since the beginning of her career, Yuko has focused on recruiting, training, and HR support. Prior to Takram, she worked for Recruit group (recruiting agent and recruiting support for major firms) and Raksul (recruiting of engineers, etc). Yuko joined Takram in 2021.

Kotaro Yamaguchi
Designer, Project Director
While majoring in design at the Tokyo University of the Arts, Kotaro Yamaguchi also gained experience as a designer in a wide range of visual design including graphic design, signage design, video design, and UI design. In 2014 he completed the post-doctorate program at Tokyo University of The Arts, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts. He joined Takram in 2014. His Notable projects include art direction for “mimicries,” a children’s science education program by NHK E-Television. Recipient of D&AD Yellow Pencil, Good Design Award, 2014 Japan Prize The Best Work in the Pre-school Category (The Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Prize).

Maria Shimizu
Graphic Designer
After graduating from Rhode Island School of Design, Maria joined TBWA\HAKUHODO, where she designed for NISSAN, UNIQLO, McDonald's, P&G, and other firms. Her design output ranges wide, from graphic design to commercials and music videos, from product design to package design. Some of her notable recognitions include Young Spikes Design Gold, Young Cannes Lion Cyber Silver (Japan Representative), Young Spikes Integrated Silver (Japan Representative), Young Cannes Lion Cyber Silver (Japan Representative), Busan International Advertising Festival U30 NEW STARS. She joined Takram in 2021.

Terushige Enatsu
Designer
Terushige Enatsu aimed to become an illustrator during his college years. Later, he became interested in web design and graphic design, and followed a path in the design field. He joined Takram following a career at a web design company. At Takram, he is primarily engaged in UI/UX projects, and his notable projects include UI design for local guide apps by NTT Docomo. Graduate of Sophia University, Faculty of Economics Department of Management.

Naoko Furuta
People Admin Manager
After working as a sales admin for a housing manufacturer, Naoko shifted her career to HR, looking for better ways to connect people with the company. She then worked at a medical human resources company, where she experienced recruiting, personnel management, and corporate management. Naoko joined Takram in May 2021 and has supported our personnel systems and operation management since.

Ryosuke Fujii
Design Engineer
Ryosuke Fujii is a design engineer with strengths in interaction design and software engineering. After a career as a pastry chef, he worked at a website and application development company, and joined Takram in 2010 after gaining experience in software engineering. He is involved in numerous smartphone service application design and development projects.

Rie Ano
Career Support Manager
Rie Ano is in charge of People and Organisation Team. After graduating from School of Political Science and Economics at Waseda University, she joined a major city bank where she worked in the loan department. After working in the planning department at a major temporary staffing agency, she joined Takram in 2010.

Soko Takezawa
Business Manager
After a 7-year career as a systems engineer, Soko Takezawa joined Takram in 2006 as its first employee. At the time, she covered all business activities except for the company’s main work all by herself, establishing administrative systems and regulations that provided the basis for the company today. Graduated from ICU.
