Takram supported Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (“Mitsubishi Electric”) in designing the Guideline for Service Design Process, a toolkit used in the co-creation area of its new collaborative space, Serendie Street Yokohama.
At the heart of the kit are activity cards, built around the ideas of “serendipitous encounters” and an agile mindset—both central to Serendie Street Yokohama. The card-based format allows teams to reconfigure the process as they go, adapting to the nature of the challenge and the stage of the project.

The same tools work seamlessly across offline and online settings, and can also support team building as part of co-creation.
Input an activity into generative AI, and it suggests the best combination from a predefined set of graphic assets and color rules.
Designers then used those AI-generated keywords as prompts to create illustrations—recombining them with AI in an ongoing co-creative process.
Divergent activities feel lively; convergent ones, more focused. Layouts and color schemes shift to match the nature of each activity.

At Serendie Street Yokohama, four custom racks made from fast-growing birch invite visitors to freely explore and use the cards and passports. https://www.mitsubishielectric.com/serendie/

With future additions in mind, shelves and card holders can be easily repositioned as the system evolves.
